Publishing The Gospel
People don’t read anymore! So they say, I disagree and even if they were right I would publish articles anyway because those who want to know will discover what’s written and those who dont will remain ignorant. Ignorant folks wont be educated or persuaded towards thew gospel nomatter what format you use. video or the printed page, so just follow your heart and publish anyway
Publishing the gospel has a biblical mandate.
Exodus 17;14 write this for a memorial in a book
Exodus 35;27The Lord said to Moses WRITE these words…and he write on the tablets the words of the covenant
Think of it we are the most priviledged of people to have before us in printed page the very first laws given to humanity and indeed the very first words spoken to the prophets in Holy writ. We are the custodians of the gospel because its words wee published, written down, preserved and handed to us.
The prophets too were instructed to write the words spoken to them by the Lord.
Isaiah 8:1 Moreover, The the Lord said to me “Take a large scroll and write oin it with a large pen…”
Jeremiah 30:2 Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
Ezekiel: As for you, son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, so that they may be ashamed of their iniquities. Let them measure the plan, 11 and if they are ashamed of all they have done, then make known to them the design of the temple— its arrangement and its exits and entrances— its whole design along with all its statutes, forms, and laws. Write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its complete design and all its statutes and may carry them out. 12This is the law of the temple: All its surrounding territory on top of the mountain will be most holy. Yes, this is the law of the temple.… (Ezekiel 43:10)
God’s instruction for the people to keep the complete design and use it in all of the goings, building ns and daily life. The desgn of the temple, The pattern of salvation, The Statutes of the law are for our instruction. its written in the book! set in blood, written in stone for our instruction that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
All scripture is written. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work
2 Timothy 3:17
Habakuk: 1 I will stand at my guard post and station myself on the ramparts. I will watch to see what He will say to me, and how I should answer when corrected. 2Then the LORD answered me: “Write down this vision and clearly inscribe it on tablets, so that a herald may run with it. 3For the vision awaits an appointed time; it testifies of the end and does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and will not delay.… (Habakuk 2:2 Berean).
Now there are two ways to publish, by writing it asnd by declaring it If you’re not a writer you can be a herald. either way preach it.

Who is the God who Made the Heavens and the Earth?
Who is the God that made the heavens and the earth?
Who are the US of Genesis ‘let us make man?’
(Genesis 1:26).
The words ‘let us’ are only found here in Genesis in reference to man. God did not say let us make the heaven and the earth. So if God himself made heaven and earth then surely God himself made man. If God himself made heavens then there would be one heavens, and there is only one heavens, If God himself made one earth then there is only one earth, hence using the same principle, we know that God made one man Adam and that one man was made by one God.
Now, let’s look other scriptures about the Creator .
’In six days the LORD made heavens and earth’ (Exodus 31:17). ‘The LORD made heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in them’ (Exodus 20:11) ‘God that made the world and all things in it seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth dwelleth not in temples made with hands’ (Acts 17:24)…’And he has made from one blood every nation of men.’ (Acts 17:26).
It was the blood of Jesus that makes us one. described by Paul as the blood of God. ( Acts 20:28). ‘in Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sin according to the riches of his grace.’ (Ephesians 1:7) ‘For in him we live and move and have our being’ (Acts 17:28). A reference to Jesus.
In whom we have redemption through his blood… For by him (singular masculine, one) all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth visible and invisible whether thrones of dominions, or principalities or powers All things were created through him and for him…And he is before all things and in him all things consist (Co1ossians 1:16 17).
So the US ‘of’ genesis could not possibly be a reference to the work of more than one God. God but rather to God and the angels.
The Lord he is God it is HE that has made us not we ourselves. (Psalm 100:1). Jesus himself is our Saviour our life-giver and Creator.
Baptism… You Can’t leave Sin without it.
“Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into his death? Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:3-4).
Why is baptism so important?…. “so we too might walk in newness of life.” The new life is impossible without baptism in his name. “We have been buried with him through baptism into death in order that we too might walk in newness of life.” His death is our death in order for his life to become our life. without the burial of the old man and its carnal nature one cannot obtain the power of the Holy Ghost that gives us the new man and the Christ like nature. The question is are you walking in the newness of life.
The old nature the flesh nature has been buried, buried with him in baptism, 2wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:12.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1).
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. )Romans 8;9

Subject: THE TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
Scripture Reading: John 3:5
Purpose: Understanding the true gospel in a world full of fake and false alternative gospels
THE SCRIPTURES
1. What is the true Gospel?
Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners (John 5:39).
2. What Did Jesus say a man had to do in order to be saved?
Except a man be born of water and Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven (John 3:5).
3. What is born of water?
What shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:37,38).
4. How are sins washed away?
Does baptism now save us
(Romans 6:3,4)
5.How did The Gentiles Receive salvation?
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. (Acts 10:44-47).
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:11).
6.Did Paul preach the gospel of Jesus?
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
7.The new birth is a resurrection from the dead.
“But if the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (resurrect) your mortal bodies, by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans 8:11). “And you being dead in your sins… hath he quickened (resurrected) together with him having forgiven you the trespasses” (Colossians 2:13).
NOTES:
The New Birth is a death, burial and a ressurrection.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. (Romans 6:5-7).
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. (Romans 6:10).

The apostles preached the gospel of DEATH BURIAL AND RESURRECTION. Acts 1:22 Acts 2:24,32 Acts 3:15:26 Acts 4:10,33 Acts 5:30,32 Acts 7:55,56 Acts 10:40-43 Acts 13:30-39 Acts 17:31,32 Acts 26:8-23.
Questions to Consider: how can we grow in family prayer? What family bible time together? What time have we made for fellowship each week?

HISTORICAL EVIDENCE
On these is founded the Article in the Nicene Creed, “I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins.” “All sins whatsoever any person has previously been guilty of, are remitted in his Baptism,”—Pearson, on the Creed; abridged by Rev. J. Gorle, M.A., page 372.
The followers of Campbell, an American Baptist, and the Christadelphians also, hold that the faith with which pardon is connected can be expressed only by submitting to immersion in water—thus making Baptism essential to forgiveness and acceptance with God. Thus in the “Declaration” issued by the Christadelphians and published by R. Roberts, of Birmingham, it is asserted that “Baptism…is only enjoined on those who have intelligence enough to believe the glad tidings of the kingdom of God, and the things concerning the name of Jesus Christ. To such it is the means of that present union with Christ, which is preparatory to perfect assimilation at the resurrection. It is, therefore, necessary to salvation.” page 51.
" Canney's Encyclopedia of Religions (1970), page 53: "Persons were baptized at first 'in the name of Jesus Christ' . . . or 'in the name of the Lord Jesus: . . . . Afterwards, with the development of the doctrine of the Trinity, they were baptized 'in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost'."
The Catholic Encyclopedia, II, 263: "The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholic Church in the second century."
Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics (1951), II, 384, 389: "The formula used was 'in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ' or some synonymous phrase; there is no evidence for the use of the trine name. . . . The earliest form, represented in the Acts, was simple immersion . . . in water, the use of the name of the Lord, and the laying on of hands. To these were added, at various times and places which cannot be safely identified, (a) the trine name (Justin), . . "

Asia Arises
And all they that dwelt in Asia heard the Word of the Lord both Jews and Greeks and God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul (Acts 19:10).
Two years shaking Asia!
The certain of the vagabond Jews exorcists took upon them to call over them that and evil spirit the name of the Lord Jesus.
Vagabond. A romer, a wanderer, having no fixed home or dwelling place. always dreaming of a easy way to fame, name and fortune. Exorcists they went about pretending to being able to expel evil Spirits and cure diseases. they commonly used the name of God to expel such Spirits. Wanderers and pretenders (Barnes). These things did the Sons of Sceva and in response to their mischevious acts the Evil Spirit spoke back to them saying Jesus I know Paul I know but who are you (Acts 19:15). and the man in whom the evil Spirit was leaped on them and overcame them and prevailed against them and they fled out of the house naked and wounded (Acts 19:16). Leaped on them, so that they went into a fury, a rage. (Mark 4:3 Mark 9:29 Luke 9:2). And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus, and fear fell on them all and the name of Jesus was magnified.
WHAT GOD CAN DO IN A DAY!
Baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 19:5).
And when Paul had laid his hands of them, the Holy Ghost came upon them and they spoke with tongues and prophesied (5,6).
The Spirits seal, the divine approval of God. His Spirit seals the deal! Salvation is his, now it's mine. He is mine and I am his. To be baptised in his name means to be devoted to him ... devoted to his work (Barnes) Baptism is a confirmation, a declaration of our conviction, a conviction that One is a sinner. and a sign of ones willingness to submit to the Lord ways of salvation and its terms.....and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. this is not the Gifts of the Spirit but the divine enduement of life. where a man once buried arises again out of the miry clay being washed of his sins and enters the kingdom speaking the language of the Spirit unto life.
Then they that gladly received the Word were baptised and THE SAME DAY they were added unto them about three thousand souls. (Acts2:41).
This conversion was instantaneous and without delay...the same day! I like that, no waiting to see if its real. This way is real and if you want the proof you have to receive it like Peter gave it! without delay, Today. And that same day were added to the church. What a day. repentance seen, baptised in the name for the washing away of sins, filled with the Spirit and added to the church. No messing, no waiting, just receiving what's for you. New Life in Christ!

This Journal is brought to you by Paul B Thomas and Image Breakers. Hi my Name is Paul B Thomas and I thank you for joining me online to read this journal . My Passion and indeed my life’s purpose and mission is to Preach Jesus. I have a favourite saying is ‘If we want to see it like the apostles saw it then we must believe it like they believed it!’ Acts days are here again! The pattern and plan for preaching the gospel is clearly given to us there. Join me in the Mission as together we preach to the nations that there is salvation in none other name, than the name of Jesus. PAUL
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. (Acts 2;38-41)
No Small Stir
And the same time there arose no small stir about that way. (Acts 19:23).
At the same time
The day when culture meets crisis
The moment when that which is heaven becomes that which takes place on earth
The time when Christ and Culture meet
Opportune moment.
STIR to awaken out of ones dilemna
To arise out of ones sleep
To shake off the dust and pursue… A divine chase of something placed before you.
When truth meets general opinion of the crowd.
The way.
Saul persecuted those of the way. (Acts 9)
Religious folks still hate those of the way
The Jesus way. Jesus whose way of salvation is the only way.
The narrow way to eternal life
JOHN 3:5 AND THE GOSPEL OF JESUS
The gospel of Jesus.
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit
(John 3;1-7
The one statement that folks seem )to in order otday everyone quotes John 3:5 Few mention John 3;4. of course this leaves a man in the quandry verse 16 tells us that a man who believes has eternal life while verse five tells us a man must be born of water and SPIRIT in order to have eternal life. Clearly then the answer is, we are not given a choice here there are no two ways top obtain eternal life and both verses have to be applied. But How
First a man must believe For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Look again, ‘whosoever believeth’ that’s the first step one must believe. Whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. ‘Should not’ perish. in other words the believer can perish but should not perish, but this is only possible of he has not got eternal life!. If he has eternal life he will not perish.
So how does the ‘believer’ obtain eternal life? after all most folks think that if they believe they have eternal life.. Not so for James tells us that ‘the devil believes’ and my friend as a believer he most definately is not born again!
So again back to John 3:5… after believing we must be born of water and spirit, that is baptised for the remission of sins (water) and receive the Holy Ghost (Spirit) upon arising out of the watery grave that my friend is the gospel of Salvation and the meaning of John 3:1-16) Jesus discourse on How to be born again.
PENTECOSTAL HISTORY (2)
Jesus Name Baptism and Azusa
Cont from Part 1
David Floyd was born in 1889 baptised in Jesus name in Houston in 1910 and filled with the Holy Ghost He taught the Oneness of God in Elton Bible Conference. he ws one of two men living who attended the Hot Springs Arkansas camp meeting in 1814 where the Assemblies of God was formed and Oct 1916 Assemblies of God Conference in St Louis MO where the Oneness brethren were voted from their ranks.
The AG made a doctrinal statement
while the New Birth, published by the UPCI in 1984, I stated, "All doctrine must be based on Scripture alone and not on man's traditions, creeds, or philosophies.... The Bible is the sole authority for doctrine and instruction in salvation.... We must limit ourselves to the clear teaching of Scripture" (pp. 257, 306).
These men and others who joind them formed the Oneness organisation The general Assembly of the Apostolic Assemblies. Floyd worked with many early figures including Charles Parnham and Maria Woodworth Etter and Joseph R Flowers. He also corresponded with Frank Bartleman who was instrumental in the early Azusa days and who had embraced the Oneness doctrine and the Acts 238 message.
Floyd stated that Baptism in Jesus name existed before the 1913 Arroyo Seco Camp-meeting. Charles Parnham had been baptising in Jesus name since the mid 1980’s. William J Seymour attended Parnham’s Bible school in Houston and followed Panham’s example of Baptism in Jesus name. (Larry L Booker. Pentecostal Herald)
Glenn Cooke was an elder in Azusa Street mission and he and Frank Ewart baptised each other in Jesus name for the remission of sins Acts 238. on April 5 1914. More about Frank Ewart to follow.
